My Special Belonging

If my family and I have to leave home due to the great danger we are facing, and I could only take one special belonging with me, I would bring my phone with me. Yes, my phone. Since phones now could do multiple things that you used to have to do with multiple separate items. By bringing my phone, I would be able to stay in touch with people I know and of course with my family. Entertainment could be performed on the phone too, those include music, games, videos and more. By having my phone, I would still be able to stay in touch with the people I am going to miss after I leave.
If I really left the place I use to stay, I would miss the environment I use to be in for a long period of time. I live in the city, where places are pretty compacted. Which means that I could go to places pretty fast without having to drive for a long time. Even if it is a driving distance, it would be a short five to ten minutes drive. These places include seven-elevens, school, tennis courts, and even some places to eat. If I was needing to leave this environment, the convenience would be something that I would definitely miss.

Theme to Your Favorite Song

The song I chose is "Seek Bromance" by Tim Berg, and here are the lyrics:

I’ve been watching you
You’ve been hurting too
You give all your love
Nothing left to show

I have been there too
alone in my despair
Watching life go by,
no one who to share

Boy you've got it bad
but I've got something good
I want to treat you good in every way yeah

You will never feel alone
my touch is such a rush
It over flows

I will give to you the love you seek
and more,

so what are you waiting for

I will give to you
The love you seek and more

I will give to you
The love you seek and more
(Youre the one im waiting for)

I will give to you
The love you seek and more
(Youre all i really need)

I will give to you
The love you seek and more
(So What are you waiting for)

I will give to you
The love you seek and more

Baby here we are
Standing face to face
Just the two of us
Locked in your embrace

Now i got it bad
But you've got something good
Won't you treat me good
In every way, yeah

Are you ready
I can feel your passion
and your love
It over flows

I will give to you the love you seek and more
So what are you waiting for
I will give to you the love you seek and more

Ive got the love you seek x3

Ive got the love

I will give to you the love you seek and more

So what are you waiting for,

I will give to you the love you seek and more
Love you seek baby is in me,

I will give to you the love you seek and more
Youre all im waiting for baby,Yeah

I will give to you the love you seek and more
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I believed that the theme of this song is that the love you've been seeking is within your friends. In the song, at first, it said, "I've been watchin' you" which states that this person is someone close to the subject. Then it said "I will give to you the love you seek and more", which then supports the theme.
The subject of the song was not stated out with a name or any other distinctive names, but it was quite clear that the subject of the song is the "you".

Folk Sopgs about Revolution

The folk song i chose was Dear Old Donegal.
This song was generally talking about an Irish wanderer who traveled to New York. Apparently, his "Irish luck" has brought him fortune and riches. As he went back to Erin's Isle in Ireland, his grandfather met him on the port with a smile. After he returned to his home, he shook hands with his close family members. As he met tons of people including, Branigan, Fannigan, Milligan, Gilligan, Duffy, McCuffy, Malachy, Mahone, and alot more. As he met all these people, he felt welcomed back to the dear old Donnegal.

Duty or Friendship?

If i was forced to choose between betraying a duty or a friend, i would definitely choose to betray the duty. Betraying a friend would most likely lead to the end of the friendship between your friend and you, but if you betray a duty, there might be possibility of a second chance that will be given to you. Friendship is also one of the most important things that a person need. Friends are people who care about you, helps you when your in trouble or if you have a problem. Basically people who you need to have a good life. Duties are jobs that are needed to be done. Which compare to friendship, are not AS important. Even though you might get fired if you don't finish a duty that your boss gave you, but friends always backs you up. You friend might help you get a new job or even your original job back. Since you betrayed your duty for your friend. Duties and jobs are things that you can get back easier when comparing to friends, and to me, I would rather spend time looking for jobs then looking for friends. In fact, if you were given the same amount of time, there might be a higher possibility of finding a job than finding a good friend. Also, true friends are irreplaceable.

Under Pressure

When under pressure, people normally perform a lot worse than they would without pressure. There are some qualities that can make people perform well under pressure. Qualities such as having a strong will at what you are trying to achieve. By having a strong will, you want to achieve your goal no matter what. It is like you have to achieve it before you die, or else you'll be extremely regretful or something. This quality would make you achieve a much better performance while under pressure. If you are in a life and death situation, like the sniper in the story, The Sniper. The sniper was facing a near-to-death experience. Which made him perform better under the extreme pressure. Since he doesn't now want to die, so he focused on trying to achieve what he wanted, other than being pressurized which will affect on you performance. In the story, he also got shot in the arm, but he did not give up. This is another thing that will happen to a person with a strong will, which is to not give up. These qualities can make a person perform better under pressure, since it is the only thing they want to achieve during that time period, therefore putting all your focus on achieving the goal.

Blog - Vengeance

There are a variety of reasons why people tend to seek revenge on others. The most common reason is because of being upset by something the other person did. You feel the unfairness, from the person, this is what cause the revenge. It makes you feel that you should do something in order to let the person feel or become in the same position as you, or worse. For example, if someone punches you, you might want to let the person who punched you feel the same way as you are. Which causes a feeing for revenge, and normally the revenge is to punch the person back. Making someone feel the same as you are after a revenge may led you feel a little better, but sometimes it brings negative things too. Obsession with vengeance can lead to tragedy pretty easily. Causing revenges can cause problems between the two people, or the person who executed the revenge would get in trouble. With the punching example again, here's an explanation on why revenges get you tragedy. If you get punched, the moment right after you get punched,  the person who punches you are most likely to be in trouble for doing that. If you feel the need for punching him back, and you did, now both of you are in trouble for punching each other. At first, you may let the other guy to be in trouble, but now, you are the one who's in trouble too.

Quickwrite - Envy

Every one had felt envy before, feeling that the grass on the other side of the fence is greener, or simply saying that feeling that someone else's life is better than what you have. Someone having something that you wanted does not mean that his or her life is better than yours. There might be several ways he or she would have gotten it. He or she might have worked for the money, or accomplished something which made he or her deserves the item. This is similar to the saying, "Don't judge a book by its cover", as in that something might not be what you think when you saw its appearance or before you even know about it. After you get in that person's position, you will understand that it is not as good as you think from the other side of the fence. Someones else might be thinking that your life is better than his or hers, and you might not think so yourself. Assuming things are not always the best thing to do, misunderstandings can happen easily. For example, when I saw my friends buying new things constantly, I envied him a little. But he actually made his own money from working part-time jobs. This shows that never to assume something without making sure what really happened.

Quickwrite - Make the Connection

Everyone has their own hopes and dreams that they want accomplish, but these hope and dreams may or may not always come true. Of course, people hate when things don't go the way they wished. When your dreams or hopes don't come true, it is just a harsh thing that you have to accept in life. Life goes on normally. Again, when unfortunate things like losing a close friend or family member, it is again something you have to accept in life. Just like time, life doesn't stop for you. Get over it and keep on living, and yes it can take some time. On the other hand, if the things you hoped and dreamed of had come true, you deserve it and continue life with it. Some of my dreams such as getting in a good collage or getting a decent job when I grow up, are things that I will know the result of in the future. All I can do now to lead my way to accomplishing these goals are working hard. Dreams and hopes does not have to be about your future things. It can be something fairly simple such as winning a tennis  tournament, or hoping your sick grandfather would soon recover. As long as it is some thing you don't know the result of, it counts as a dream or hope.

Quickwrite - Make the Connection

Some students in school might have been under the pressure of not being able to actually be their self. They believed that they should "go with the flow", as in follow what most of the people are doing. This includes what most people wear, do, eat, talk, and so on. They believed that it is weird to not be similar to the people. They could also be afraid to look different then the others, they might think that other people would think that its weird for them to not be similar. These internal conflicts are mostly from personal desires, instead of the outside force. The students BELIEVED that they should act like other people in the school. Believing comes from a person him or herself, yes it may be affected by his or her surroundings, but it still comes from the inside of a person. Being yourself is better than mimicking somebody else. Be creative, learn to express your own feelings or ideas. I'm pretty sure everyone thinks that a large amount of people that is unique is better than a group of people that looks the same and do the same things.

Quickwrite - Make the Connection

There are a lot of things that friends give each other. Giving doesn't have to be actually giving an object to a person. It can be giving something emotionally, such as happiness, kindness, or even annoyance sometimes. Some friendships can last for a long time, our some could end in a short period of time. All depending on how well you interact with the person. There are a lot of ways to keep a friendship, such as keeping a connection. Keeping a connection as in chatting with them from time to time or just doing something with them that will keep the two of you connected. Of course, there are ways to end a friendship, in fact, there are several different ways to do that. Conflicts end friendships, there are different ways of starting one. One of the most common ways, disagreements. Disagreements can let two or more people to side with each other, which then will lead to a break in the friendship. Friendship is something you can't buy, if you have some, good for you. You should keep your friends close, since friends are part of people's lives now.

The Most Dangerous Game Key Events

In the story of the Most Dangerous Game, the key events are first when Rainsford heard the gunshots from  his yacht. The shots brought him out of his cabin and which then he fell off the yacht. After he swam to Ship-Trap Island, he met Ivan and General Zaroff. Soon he found out that Zaroff make boats crash near his island in order for him to play "hunting games" with him. Since Zaroff has packs of dogs preventing people from escaping his island without his permission, Rainsford had no choice but to have a duel against General Zaroff. This was how the duel works, Rainsford needs to stay alive and not to get killed by Zaroff in three days. During the three day duel, Rainsford has used his hunting experience and skills to face through different challenges. On the first day, as Rainsford was hiding up in a tree, Zaroff has followed the trail he had made on purposely. He saw Rainsford hiding in the tree for sure, but he did not kill him. This shows that he has absolute confidence in winning the duel. On the last day, Zaroff brought the pack of dogs to chase off Rainsford, so he dived in the ocean and swam back to Zaroff. At last, they fought their final battle in the bedroom and Zaroff was fed to the dogs as food.

Quickwrite: Make the Connection

The Joker is an insane and chaotic villain in the movie Batman. The Joker is one of the greatest enemy of Batman according to the plot. This character fascinates me with his mind which is impossible to read. You have no idea what he is thinking or what he is going to do. With his extremely chaotic characteristics, he does extremely cruel things to people... since its a movie, I actually enjoys it.
